Annette Scheunpflug is Professor for Foundations in Education at the Otto-Friedrich-University of Bamberg, Germany. Her research focuses on educational quality, global learning, anthropology in education and the relation between religion and education. She is chair of the board of GENE – Global Education Network Europe and member of the board of the International Bureau of Education of UNESCO in Geneva. She holds an honorary doctor from the University of Oulu/Finland.
