Four ETEN member universities, Mondragon University, HvA Amsterdam, OsloMet and KP-Copenhagen, have been working on an Easum KA2 project, with ETEN as an affiliated partner for 3 years, since 2022

It has been an exciting and fruitful collaboration. ETEN has been the perfect frame for our collaboration, allowing us to involve the Thematic Interest Groups in ETEN, especially the Internationalization TIG, as critical, reflective friends. Thank you all for showing interest in the UCOILD project and inspiring us during the process.

The project’s name is UCOILD – Unfolding Collaborative Online International Learning Didactics.

Especially during corona, but even before that time, there has been a growing interest in COILs to internationalism at home, including among all students, focusing on intercultural aspects, subject-based themes, and digital competencies.

In the projects, we have been exploring and experimenting with COIL didactics. Students from the four universities have been working together online and have also had physical meetings.

We had the Multiplier event at KP-Copenhagen in September, just before the ETEN meeting. Twentyfive to thirty ETEN members participated physically, and some participated virtually. We would like to thank ETEN for the support, and we will be pleased to share our experiences with the UCOILD project and having a KA2 project with ETEN as an affiliated partner.
