From 21 to 23 January 2026, you are warmly invited to the teacher training department of Karel de Grote University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Antwerp for the KdG Expert Days focusing on
Effective Classroom Management
The aim of the Expert Days is to bring together a small group of teacher educators to exchange expertise, discuss challenges, create opportunities, and be inspired around a clearly defined topic.

Successful classroom management is one of the core competencies that our future teachers must acquire. Today’s rich and diverse society also presents many challenges for teachers, and we notice that students often struggle with maintaining an overview of the class, managing behaviour, giving direction, making adjustments, providing clear instructions, and keeping track of processes to achieve the best learning outcomes in a warm and inviting climate for their pupils.
During this three-day staff mobility, we bring together teacher educators to share tips and tricks, insights, challenges, and opportunities from their own practice, and to return inspired and enriched to gather insights from different perspectives and take them back home.
For participation, we can facilitate Erasmus Training/Shadowing (STT).
