In our TIG Creative Storytelling, stories and storytelling are at the center. Stories from an expanded perspective. It can be participants’ life stories, it can be literature in preschools and kindergartens, it can be storytelling for a sustainable future, it can be traditional stories in schools, and it can be a critical perspective on stories in textbooks, picture books, writing and experiencing poetry – and a lot more. Participants get to engage with varying work on stories and storytelling within the framework of teacher education, teaching, pedagogical studies and learning from a variety of countries and cultures. We often have interactive and creative presentations, engaging workshops and experimental seminars where participants can try, explore, and be creatively involved. We laugh, play, and tell stories, in short. Participants always bring home new ideas and activities for their lectures and workshops. In this way Creative Storytelling becomes a cross-border lab to encourage more creativity within teacher and pedagogical education.
We will meet – once upon a time – in the land of Creative Storytelling.
