Dear participants of the ETEN conference 2023,
we look forward to welcoming you on Thursday at the ETEN conference! Here you find some important information for the conference.
- Registration
Please note that your registration is only valid if you have registered correctly and if you have paid the registration fee. We cannot grant access to the conference to guests who have not registered. Please bring your ID for the registration at the registration desk and permanently wear your name badge which you will receive at the registration! The badge is the admission card for the conference activities
- Drinking water
Beside the badge you will also receive a reusable cup. For reasons of sustainability, we will not offer single use plastic bottles of water during the conference. You can refill your cup with water in the restrooms. Coffee, tee, juices, and water will be provided during the coffee breaks.
- Lunch
You conference fee includes a lunch at the canteen on campus for TIG leaders and ECO’s on Thursday and Friday and for all other participants on Friday. You will find the vouchers for the canteen inside your welcome bag. On Saturday all registered participants will receive a lunch package. Since the voucher is written in German, you will find attached an English translation of its text.
English Translation for the canteen voucher for ETEN Conference (April 13-15, 2023 in Nuremberg):
The voucher includes:
- a soup
- a main dish including a side dish (just regular meals)
- a premade salad (no self service on salad buffet)
- a dessert
- a drink 0.2l (to fill up yourself
- Gala dinner
We are looking forward to welcoming all guests who have registered for the Gala Dinner on Saturday in the Nuremberg restaurant “Mautkeller” (https://goo.gl/maps/FRq5S5utRvLMqwHr9). If you have registered for this event, you will receive a voucher for the dinner in your welcome bag. The meals (a buffet) and mineral water are included in the conference fee. You can order other drinks but you will have to pay for them yourself. Please note that we cannot accept participants at the gala dinner who have not registered for it.
- Left luggage office
If you do not have the opportunity to drop off your luggage at the hotel before you arrive at the conference we can also lock it up in left luggage office next to the registration desk. Please use this opportunity only if you have no other option. Capacities are limited. In case you have to leave Nuremberg on Saturday after the conference, we can lock your luggage on Saturday until 12:30.
- TIG room equipment
Our TIG rooms are equipped with a projector, a board, flip charts and flip charts markers. We also provide hdmi cables for your laptops. To all Apple users: We have to inform you that we cannot offer apple video/audio cables/adapters. Please bring your own cables or adapters.
- Cultural activities
Our cultural activities on Saturday have attracted a lot of interest. We are looking forward to visit the historical places of Nuremberg you registered for. To make sure that your journey there goes smoothly, please note the instructions to the cultural activities in the attached file.
