The Urban Education TIG on the move

On Thurday we did the Urban Education Tour in Leeuwarden. Before the Tour, we had a presentation from Isa about Play and Risky Play. Than we walk through two neighborhoods in two groups. You can read the assignment below.

We saw a duck that needed help end we offered help by calling the animimal ambulance. We thought: kids would do that too, so we’ll do it too.
After the Tour we had an discussion about what we had seen with Isa. She and Marytske from the University of Leiden prepared this Tour.
We played a game about Educational Inequality. It is developed by the University of Amsterdam.
We also had discussion in small groups  about Urban Education in our Universities.

    Hi George,

    Nice to hear from you. We still love the job and we had a great teacher ;).

    Every year Nora and I look forward to leading this TIG. Our colleagues in is TIG has a big heart for this subject.
